As per the Maharashtra government order dated 06/07/20, clubs and hotels are permitted to open occupancy at 33 % of the establishment capacity. In view of this notice, the Seamens Club has opened reservations to all seafarers at 33% occupancy of the Club capacity.
For your information, the lockdown in Mumbai is in force until 31st August’20 and there are travel restrictions in the city. The local trains/buses are not open to public. Shipping companies have limited operations and are resorting to on line work.
The Seamens Club is practicing all social distancing requirements and Norms. Please be guided by the below guidelines.
On arrival at the reception, the seafarer will need to present the original COVID negative report (96 hrs validity) and CDC.
RBSS staff or nominated persons will check the seafarers temperature at entry to the club and spray his baggage.
Seafarer will be provided a basic PPE kit. (Sanitizer, gloves, mask)
Any additional PPE requirements will need to be carried.
Face mask is required to be used at all times while in the Club.
Consumption of alcohol and its products is prohibited. The Bar remains closed.
Smoking and use of tobacco products strictly prohibited.
Strictly follow social distancing at all times.
Seafarer is responsible to keep the room & surrounding area clean and hygienic.
If need be, he may be required to submit himself for a health checkup at timing indicated by management.
Report to management if he finds anyone else developing COVID like symptoms or other medical condition
Meals are not included in the room cost. The cost will have to be settled directly with the Canteen in-charge. There will be a fixed menu of a Vegetarian or Non-vegetarian meal. No room service will be permitted.
Meals will be served in the canteen with one person per table.
Breakfast from 08:30 to 09:30 AM
Lunch from 12:30 to 13:30 PM
Dinner from 19:30 to 20:30 PM
11. Follow strictly guidelines for maintaining hygiene as per BMC guidelines and posters put up.
12. If the seafarer needs to leave the RBSS premises, he may do so after informing the security on duty, you will need to indicate the place/s you visited upon your return
16. Due to hygiene reasons, public places like TV room, gym will be closed.
17. In case of use of elevator, only one person will use the elevator at a time.
18. Change of linen will be every 3 days and no room service will be available.
18. During check out, seafarer is require report to the check- out counter at least One hour before scheduled time of leaving, to completed the check- out formalities.
19. Check in and check out is permitted only between 0800 and 1900 hrs as the reception services are limited.
20. Prior to the seafarers arrival, and immediately after the seafarer leaves, the room will be sprayed and sanitized, including change of bed linen, washroom and proper disposure of waste bin.

BOOKING GUIDELINES 02 08 2020
Booking is open to all seafarers holding valid CDC for transit accommodation.
Seafarer must posses a COVID 19 NEGATIVE from a registered medical agency, issued within less than 96 hour period.
Booking message from seafarer should contain name , CDC number, rank, company name, reason for visit, and copy of COVID TEST certificate and contact numbers at a minimum of 24 hours prior on email Id: email@example.com
All rooms are on single occupancy basis as below:
Family room – Rs. 2,125/- per day ( families are welcome )
Grade 1 – A/c with attached Toilet and Bath - Rs 1200/- per day
Grade 2 – Non-A/c with attached Toilet Bath – Rs. 740/- per day
Grade 3 – Non A/c with common toilet and bath - Rs 430/- per day
Meals are NOT included in the above rates
Room cancellation will be as per club policy.
Check in Check between 0800/1900 only.
Once availability is conveyed, seafarer is required to make the payment immediately providing us the reference number of payment. Cash may be accepted at counter, subject to availability of the room
Rooms will be allotted as per booking date receipt coupled with safety requirements.
All Charges will be paid in advance by the seafarer directly to the RBSS account.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellation of confirmed booking by 15 days prior notice shall incur no cancellation charge.
Cancellation of booking between 7 to 14 days prior notice shall incur 50% charge of the room rate.
Cancellation of booking with less than 7 days prior notice shall incur one day charge of room rate.
In the event a Seafarer residing at the club is required to curtail his/her stay will incur one day charge of room rate.
Room rate for above purpose shall be the room rate of the room booked by the seafarer.
Bookings cannot be postponed or transferred to another name.
Where a refund is due, Seafarer to provide his/her account number, bank name , address and IFSC code.
Refund will be made within 7 days by NEFT transfer to seafarers bank or by cheque in the seafarers name to his/her home address.
All refunds will be less bank charges, if applicable
